Events
The Border Textile Group encourages members to take part in craft and textile activities throughout the year. If there is a particular craft or skill you are looking to perfect there is often another member who has tried it and who can help you, or ask the Programme Co-ordinator if a workshop could be arranged.
In addition to the monthly meetings and workshops there are a number of other activities that take place, click on the relevant picture to find out more or check out our archive to learn about past activities.

The AGM is usually held during the December "Christmas Lunch" meeting. This is often very well attended as it is an excellent chance to eat well, socialise with fellow stitchers and have a jolly good laugh.

At least one "Challenge" is issued during the year. Sue Jackson usually announces her Christmas Challenge at January's meeting for members to work on at home so having plenty of time to take part.

The Border Textile group also hosts an exhibition of members work every three years. Our next Exhibition "Borders in Stitch" will be held June 2024.
