March Meeting 2024

In March we had an illuminating talk by Sarah Wakefield from “Leaves of Auchencraw” about how she came to the Borders from New Zealand; and how textiles and learning dying processes (with the help and support of BTG members) aided her recovery from illness. Sarah is very conscious about how we should tread lightly on the planet so uses natural materials on reclaimed fabrics and paper and aims to be as waste free as possible. Members were given the opportunity to ask lots of questions and handle samples of her work during the presentation and at the end of the meeting.
