2024 Exhibition
Workshops 2022 to 2024
There were 3 workshops in 2022. Susan Finlayson held a workshop on crewel embroidery in the March. In June Nikki Parmeter held a workshop on Free Motion embroidery, was called Marine magic but members were encouraged to choose their own designs, and in October 2022 Jacky Cardy showed us how to make our own wet felted cloth in "Felting for stitch". These are items submitted by members of finished works.

In January, on enrolment day, we have a number of mini workshops led by members. For 2024 Rhona and Yvonne showed us how to embroider wood, Kay showed us how to smock tartan and Theresa demonstrated the art of Origami Boxes. Before the summer exhibition we only had time for one workshop by a guest lecturer. In April Carol Munro showed us how to use scraps to make amazing appliqué cow and tree quilts.
