May Meeting 2024

Our May meeting was a change from normal. The hall was open to from 10am until 4pm to allow members the opportunity to stitch together or get help and advice on presenting their exhibition submissions. The committee held brief a meeting in the morning to discuss exhibition planning and general matters. The main points being that there will be free Tea and Coffee at meetings from now on, and Theresa will be stepping down from the committee in January. So if you are interested in becoming the Chairperson then please let her know, you do not have to be a committee member to apply.

 

There was no booked speaker for this month's meeting but at 2pm Vanessa delivered a presentation about the upcoming Border Textile Group Exhibition in June, letting members know what has been done so far, the key dates and who will be doing what to make the event run as smoothly as possible.

If you were not able to make the meeting then click on the Exhibition Plan button below to go to the planning document. The key information being that we need to know what you will be submitting to the exhibition by Friday 17th May.

 

Your work must be delivered to Foulden between 9am and  11am on 7th June. If you can't get your work to Foulden please contact Vanessa before 3rd June

Finally all work must be collected from Foulden by 5.30pm on 9th June.
